Organization of Islamic Cooperation foreign ministers meet to discuss plastic missile attack

WED NOVEMBER 16 2016-The Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received an invitation from his Saudi counterpart Adel bin Ahmad Al-Jubeir to attend the emergency meeting of the council of the foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss the plastic missile attack launched by Houthi militias and allies of ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh on 17 February, 2016 against holy sites in Makkah in Saudi Arabia.

The Ambassador of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Abdullah Abdulmalik Al Sheikh presented to him the invitation.

During the audience, the Minister welcomed the Saudi Ambassador taking utmost pride in the close fraternal relations that emanate from the steady deep-rooted foundations between the two countries.

He ascribed the strength of the all-encompassing relations to the kind care accorded by the leadership of the two countries to enhance and develop the cooperation at all levels.

He commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s key role in strengthening regional and international peace and security.

Shaikh Khalid renewed Bahrain’s condemnation and denunciation of Houthi militias and allies of ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh targeting of Makkah which is a heinous terrorist attack and flagrant provocation to all Muslims feelings.

He reiterated the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its encountering efforts of all forms of terrorism and against whoever tries to undermine its security or the security of the holy sites. –theG&BJournal
