SAT, JULY 22 2017- Niger State governor, Abubakar Sani Bello yesterday paid a working visit to the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending, NIRSAL, seeking to cement the already solid relationship and underscore the importance of agric funding support received over the years from the institution.

Governor Sani Bello met with the executive director, Technical, Dr Babajide Arowosafe and the managing director, Mallam Aliyu Abdulhameed at NIRSAL head office in Abuja were both parties discussed fresh strategies for increased agric funding for the farmers in the state. NIRSAL was launched in 2011 and incorporated in 2013 by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) as a dynamic, holistic USD500 Million public-private initiative to define, measure, price and share agribusiness related credit risk.
