Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency ramps up road construction

MON, NOVEMBER 21 2016-The Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, DSCTDA, is ramping up road construction in the Capital Territory, taking advantage of the onset of dry season.

One of the numerous roads slated for construction, the Nigeria Immigration Head quarter,Ibusa road, which is about one kilometre long, is already getting the full make-over and many in the area acknowledge the development as unprecedented.

The Director General, DG, of the agency Clement Ofuani told theG&BJournal that eight additional roads around capital territory are also undergoing construction and will all be delivered by mid December 2016. He said more will be added in the second phase of the road infrastructure investment in two weeks time and so far none has cost the state more than it should.

“All of these roads are being handled by indigenous Delta State contractors and they are cost effective investments, creating jobs, reflecting on ease of doing business in the state, with added beautification of the capital territory and making it even more attractive for investment,” he said.
