WED, JUNE 21 2017-The African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) and CFA Institute signed a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) yesterday that will see both bodies work together to enhance investment awareness.
The president of ASEA, Oscar N. Onyema OON signed on behalf of the body while Paul Smith, President/CEO, CFA Institute signed on behalf of the Institute. Both bodies say the MoU is to foster a better relationship between the two organisations.
CFA Institute is a global association of investment professionals. The organization offers the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement designation, and the Investment Foundations Certificate.
ASEA is made up of 27 Securities Exchanges in Africa. They all came together with the aim of developing member exchanges and providing a platform for networking. The association was established in 1993.
