MON, AUGUST 28 2017-Petr Cech ripped into his Arsenal team-mates as he conducted a dressing-room inquest that raised more question marks over the management of Arsene Wenger following the shambolic defeat against Liverpool, according to a report by UK’S Telegragh.

Cech described the defeat at the performance as “unacceptable” in an interview after the game, but was far harsher of his team-mates in the confines of the dressing-room.

The report say goalkeeper Cech took it upon himself to tell the Arsenal players that they had let the club down and embarrassed themselves at Anfield.

“Witnesses have revealed the 35-year-old was furious with the performance and decided to take matters into his own hands after the final whistle of the 4-0 thrashing. But the fact it was Cech and not Wenger who blasted the team will only strengthen the opinion of the Frenchman’s critics that he is not hard enough on his under-performing players,” according to the Telegraph.

Cech was the only Arsenal player to leave Anfield with any credit following the 4-0 thrashing that could have been worse were it not for some fine saves from the Czech Republic international.

The Telegraph say that there is a real fear inside the Emirates that some of Arsenal’s wantaway players are no longer fully committed to the shirt, which leaves Wenger and the board with some tough decisions before the transfer window shuts on Thursday.

Wenger shocked members of his staff by picking Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to start, despite the fact the England international had turned down a new contract and reiterated his desire to leave only a couple of days earlier.

Chelsea and Liverpool want to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain before Thursday’s transfer deadline, with Arsenal now fearing they have little option but to sell.

Alexis Sanchez was brought straight back into the team at the expense of summer signing Alexandre Lacazette even though the Chile international has had no pre-season and wants to quit the Emirates.
